Visit the nearby thermal spas, take scenic drives through the countryside, and make day trips to Florence or Siena, but know that whatever you decide to do, you'll be so happy you chose this Tuscany villa as your home.

Location Description

This property is located three kilometers away from the nearest town of Monsummano. There are a number of leisure activities you can find in or around Monsummano such as golf courses, horseback riding facilities, walking tours, and cooking classes. Nearby are the Giusti Grottoes, home to hot thermal baths; the Pistoia hills and mountains, where skiing in the winter is an option; a pretty Romanesque church and an ancient castle. Thirty kilometers away is Lucca, which is worth enjoying for its medieval charm in addition to a number of interesting sights. The Duomo di San Martino and the Church of San Michele in Foro are both gorgeous examples of period architecture, while the Casa di Puccini, where the composer was born, has been transformed into a small museum in his honor. You can also climb the 130 foot Torre Guinigi, but on the other hand, viewing the tree-topped tower from below might be just as enjoyable… and a lot less work! There is a train station in both Montecatini Terme (located seven kilometers away) and Lucca in which you can easily and quickly travel to Pisa or Florence for the day should you not feel like driving.

Exterior Description

(7 hectares) Built during the second half of the 18th century, this villa is comprised of two independent units and is situated in the center of woods, olive groves and the slopes of Mount Albano. The garden features a landscaped yard with large trees, a dining area under a gazebo, and a barbecue. The road to the property is paved and each unit has a different entrance gate and parking area.

Ground Floor: There is living room with two couches, armchairs, satellite TV, and an antique fireplace made of stone. The dining room has a table and eight chairs and the kitchen is equipped with a cook-top, oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and dishwasher. There is a guest bathroom with a sink and toilet.

Second Floor: A staircase of 13 steps lead to this floor where there are three bedrooms. The first bedroom has a king-sized bed (180 cm) and an en suite bathroom with a sink, toilet, shower, and Jacuzzi tub. The second and third bedrooms each have a king-sized bed (180 cm) and an en suite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and hydro massage shower.
