Customer Reviews
Overall:
Love this property. Second year in a row I have been there.
Enjoyed Most:
Location makes easy access to Pisa, Florence and the Chianti region. Property is a piece of history. Day trips are easy access in all directions.
Enjoyed Least:
Since it is a historical property there are no elevators. If you are on 2nd or 3rd floor, this makes for a workout. The owners are maintaining the historical charm which I think is awesome. This is what you want to experience at a property like this, its true structure.
Surrounding Area:
The grounds and surroundings are peaceful and breathtaking.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Forgot the name of the small town we walked to and had dinner. It was true Tuscan food at Il Focolare.
Tips or Restaurants:
This is not a hotel, so you are required to bring your own supplies. It is a do-it-yourself set up.
Directions:
We used GPS and we were fine.
Check In Out:
No, both times there we had no issue.

Overall:
Spacious apartment, clean and appropriately furnished.
The bedroom is very good and comfortable, as is the bathroom.
Enjoyed Most:
Peaceful, enjoyable and great advice from the personnel (directions, things to see). Easy parking.
Enjoyed Least:
Absence of a view (the windows are positioned high) and erratic WiFi service. We would have liked to have had an elevator or assistace with luggage.
Surrounding Area:
Easy acces to Firenze by bus, easy travel by car to other points of interest, such as Lucca.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Montagnana is 1 km away, so walking distance is OK, though I preferred taking the car to go do the shopping for the meals.
Tips or Restaurants:
It is a great place overall, clean, spacious and well-situated.
Directions:
No GPS needed, directions supplied were OK and we had a proper map.

The staff was very helpful....the apartment itself was quite spacious......we enjoyed several fun meals at the resturant.
Enjoyed Least:
I kept hitting my head on a beam in the bedroom.....I'm 6' 1........
Nearby Events or Locales:
We never tried to walk......if you went up the hill, there was a quite good restaurant in that little community....recommended by the staff.
Check In Out:
When we got there, it was raining....my wife speaks a little Italian so she was able to communicate with a nice, helpful man there who helped us check in......
