Location Description

The property is located one kilometer from Piedimonte Etneo, where there are shops, markets, restaurants, and banks. Situated on the slopes of Mount Etna, not only does Piedimonte Etneo offers outstanding views of the surrounding region, but is known for it's large harvesting of citrus fruits and floral plants. These fruits can be tasted during the annual Festa della Vendemmia (the vintage feast) held in September. Be sure the check out the main cultural sites that include the Chiesa Madre, built in the 18th century, and the Mariano Sanctuary. Great day trip destinations are Taormina and Catania.

Exterior Description

Located within a large garden full of trees, this accommodation is an apartment in its own wing of a lovely villa in which the owners reside. There is also a cottage. There are views over the countryside as well as of Mount Etna. A shared swimming pool (12m x 25m) is surrounded by a sun deck with sun loungers. Parking is available within the property grounds.

Interior Description

Apartment
Ground Floor: The entrance of the accommodation opens to a hallway that leads to a sitting room with leather couches and chairs.
First Floor: A white marble staircase leads up to the first floor where there is a kitchen, three bedrooms, and two bathrooms. The kitchen is equipped with a cook-top, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, and washing machine as well as a table with chairs. The first bedroom has a 160 cm queen-sized bed, the second bedroom has two 90 cm single beds, and the third bedroom has one 90 cm single bed. Each bedroom opens to the terrace. The first bathroom has a sink, toilet, and tub with a handheld shower and the second bathroom has a sink, toilet, and shower.

Cottage
First Floor: There is a combined living and dining room with a couch and table with chairs. The kitchen is equipped with a cook-top, oven, toaster, and dishwasher. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. The first bedroom has a 160 cm queen-sized bed and the second bedroom has two 90 cm single beds. The bathroom has a sink, toilet, and tub with a separate shower.
