Overall:
Our overall experience was excellent. The property is beautiful and very "Italian".
Enjoyed Most:
The location of the property was perfect. We were only a 1 minute walk from both of the town squares.
Enjoyed Least:
We somewhat missed not having air conditioning at night. The apartment was equipped with numerous fans which was helpful. Now that we know there is no air conditioning, this would not stop us from renting this same property again.
Surrounding Area:
We loved the overall town of Cortona. By the end of our 2 week stay I believe that we walked on every street! The surrounding area was beautiful also.
Nearby Events or Locales:
The nearby towns that we visited were Montepulciano and Pienza. Both were beautiful and interesting, but not within walking distance.
Tips or Restaurants:
The apartment was well equipped. There was nothing that was needed. Of course if you come from the USA you need adapters for the electric outlets.
Directions:
We believe that the directions were fine. We had arranged for Blacklane Limousines to pick us up at Rome airport and take us to Cortona so we did not need a GPS. Blacklane was excellent.
Check In Out:
Check in/check out was simple. No change is required.
