The metro station is also just around the corner along with bus stops, allowing you to navigate all the top tourist destinations Rome has to offer, with ease. Location Description

The apartment is located on Via Ciancaleone, in the Monti area of Rome—so called because it is in the Roman hills. It is a characteristic area with many pedestrian zones due to the historical buildings and art. Monti is a neighborhood on the rise with locals and tourists—it’s a mixture of antiquated tradition and a more recent rise of bohemian style. There are artsy cafes, vintage clothing shops, organic markets, and art galleries—yet you can still find craftspeople and local artisans selling their traditional wares. There are also plenty of restaurants and a few good spots for nightlife, but you also have the benefit of being in a more relaxed area of Rome. A fashionable bar, La Bottega del Caffe, spills out on to the neighborhood’s main square of Piazza Madonna dei Monti. Ai Tre Scalini is another popular enoteca. Do not miss the vintage market, Mercato Monti, which houses 35 vendors—the first three Sundays, and the last Saturday of the month (Via Leonina 46).

Nearby Attractions: The Roman Forum and Trajan’s Column are nearby, and the apartment is within walking distance of the Colosseum, where the Romans would gather to watch gladiators fight or see circus performances. Also nearby is the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, one of the first basilicas in Rome dating back to the 4th century AD. The surrounding neighborhood features shops, restaurants, and markets including the Piazza Vittorio—the largest open-air food market in Rome.

Second Floor: This bright, modern, apartment is finished in neutral tones and contemporary décor. There is a large living room area with comfy sofas (one is a 120cm sofa bed, comfortable for one), a flat-screen TV, WIFI, and air conditioning. There is a dining table and fully equipped kitchen with an oven, stove, toaster, teakettle, and dishwasher. The three double bedrooms each have a 160cm queen-sized bed. The single bedroom has a 90cm single bed. There are two bathrooms, one with a bathtub and the other with a shower. This apartment also offers a lovely private terrace with plants, a table and chairs for guest to relax and enjoy the outdoors.
