Steps away from this Rome apartment rental are the Campo dei Fiori, the Trevi Fountain, and countless restaurants and shops. - Location Description
-
The apartment is located in the Historical Center and is within walking distance of the Campo dei Fiori, the square in which one of the best markets in the city is held. Also within walking distance is the Trevi Fountain, Rome’s renowned monument in which coin-tossers are believed to be granted a return trip to the Eternal City. This neighborhood is filled with are shops, restaurants, and markets. The Spanish Steps are a short distance away, so it will probably take you longer to climb them than to reach them! Due to the central location of this apartment, you’ll be able to easily visit the Pantheon, Camp dei Fiori, and even the Colosseum. The nearest metro stop is Barberini.
Nearby Attractions: Operating since 1869, the market of Campo dei Fiori is alive with colorful flower vendors and beautiful locally grown produce. Interestingly, the streets of this area are named after the artisans who traditionally occupied them such as Via dei Cappellari (hatters), Via dei Baullari (trunk makers) and Via dei Chiavari (key makers). For some of the best foccacia bread in the city, stop in at Forno Campo de’ Fiori for a warm slice. The Rigatoni all’Amatriciana at the famous La Carbonara Restaurant is a dish worth writing home about.

Customer Reviews
Overall:
We loved the location and felt it was ideally located for all the things we wanted to do while in Rome. Plenty of room for our whole family. No real living area but since we were not spending much time in the apartment it did not really matter.
Enjoyed Most:
The location! We were able to easily walk to all the sites (Vatican City, Old Rome, Spanish Steps, etc.). Loved being right by the Campo de Fiori and ate dinner there often and also enjoyed the farmers market each morning!
Enjoyed Least:
We were there during a heat wave (mid-90s) the stand alone A/C units didn't work well; one of the bedrooms didn't even have a fan. There was also no living area (room with couch, etc.) other than the kitchen with the table/chairs so would not be a comfortable place to spend much time. Since we were sight-seeing all day it did not matter.
Surrounding Area:
LOVED the neighborhood! Lots of great restaurants close by, loved all the activity on the square and enjoyed the farmers market each morning.

Overall:
We absolutely loved our stay in Rome. This property is centrally located, right in the midst of the action. Just steps from the Campo di Fiore which is a beautiful market by day and a fun gathering place in the evening.
Enjoyed Most:
Location, location, location. Beds were comfortable. Good WiFi connection.
Enjoyed Least:
No microwave, no living room. (The kitchen has a big table for gathering. )
Surrounding Area:
Right out the door is a busy shopping district. We were able to walk to Piazza Navona, Coloseum, Jewish Ghetto, and much more. Lots of places to eat and drink nearby.
Tips or Restaurants:
Fourth floor, no elevators. Need basic supplies such as extra TP, paper towels. A fine restaurant right downstairs.
Directions:
Found the address on Google maps. It is right off a major thoroughfare.
Check In Out:
Did not get a good orientation to the thermostats. Had some difficulty maintaining a comfortable temperature.

Overall:
It was very nice vacation for all of us!
Enjoyed Most:
The location was super!
Enjoyed Least:
It wasn't air-conditioned. The apartment is on the 4th floor without elevator.
Surrounding Area:
Fontana dei Trevi
Tips or Restaurants:
Pay attention to the lack of air-conditioning, especially if you're booking during the summer period. Everything is avaialable for purchased nearby and there is no need to bring a lot of supplies.
