About The Experience

Experience rural Tuscany while being close to the city of Siena, and only 10 minutes away from the Superstrada linking Siena to Florence. The estate is divided into 4 detached houses and 6 apartments (6 units which we list on our site). This is an ideal location for visiting Siena, as well as the many nearby hill towns, most of which are less than an hour away by car or train.

Location Description

The estate is located near the village of Costafabbri, and just 5 km from the center of historical Siena. It is also about ten minutes' drive from the main Superstrada linking Siena to Florence. This is a convenient and easy highway to access the Chianti region and the towns of central Tuscany, many of which are within an hours' drive. You're bound to spend lots of time wandering around Siena, a picturesque city that is a well preserved example of the Tuscan Middle Ages, and a treasure trove of gothic palaces, churches, and museums. It is well known for its exiting bi-annual bareback horse races, the Palio, held on July 2 and August 16. Take a day trip to San Gimignano, known for its ancient towers, and to Volterra, famous for its alabaster. You can also take a bus or train for a day trip to Florence.

Exterior Description

This apartment is situated within a small complex of 10 apartments. The property is in a peaceful position and has extensive views over the typical Tuscan style hills with olive groves and vineyards. All residences share a well-tended garden and a swimming pool (8m x 15m, open May 1 - September 30, from 9:00 am - 7:00 pm) surrounded by sun beds, chairs, and umbrellas, and with a bathroom and a barbecue. Each accommodation also has its own reserved parking space.

This apartment has a private and furnished outdoor area for al fresco dining.

Ground Floor: This apartment has a large, combined living and dining room. The living room has a single divan bed. The small equipped kitchenette has an oven and dishwasher. There is one bathroom with a shower, and a utility room with a washing machine.

First Floor: There are three bedrooms on the first floor. The first is the master bedroom with a queen size bed (160 cm). The second and third bedroom both have a set of twin beds (90 cm). One bathroom has a bathtub, and the second bathroom has a shower.
