- About The Experience
-
In this centrally-located apartment in Rome, you’ll be just steps away from St. Peter’s Basilica, the world’s largest church. In this case, though, location isn’t everything: this stylish apartment would be a great find even if it weren’t located in one of the best locations in Rome. It’s been meticulously restored, with dark wooden floors and modern yet tasteful furnishings, yet retains a classic character in its vaulted brick ceilings.
- Location Description
-
This apartment is located in Rome outside Vatican City, just 200 meters from Saint Peter’s Basilica. Right outside the apartment, you’ll find a grocer, bakery, and several restaurants. At 200 meters, there is a post office, pharmacy, bar, and stores. There’s a train station 300 meters away, and a parking garage 20 meters away, although a car is not necessary in Rome. You’ll be within walking distance of the Vatican Museums, and you can easily take public transportation to the Colosseum and Rome’s other sights.
Nearby Attractions: Vatican City is known for its impressive museums, St. Peter’s Basilica and beautiful gardens. Explore a little to the north of the Vatican, however, and you'll find Prati neighborhood, known for the Mercato Trionfale and Flower Markets. Freshly made pasta, delicious cheese and locally grown produce will keep your eyes and stomach delightfully satisfied. The Borgo neighborhood, just outside the Vatican’s walls, offers medieval charm in a peaceful residential setting.
