Location was perfect for short trips to Florence, Siena, Greve, San Gimignano, and other beautiful hilltop towns.
Enjoyed Least:
Entrance to property was a bit difficult to find the first time.

Beautiful view of hills and olive groves. Beautiful sunsets.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Villa was right next to an excellent restaurant. Small town of San Donato in Poggio was within walking distance and had two other good restaurants and a small grocery store.
Tips or Restaurants:
There is a hilltop restaurant in Volpaia that I would highly recommend. Beautiful view and delicious food.

Overall:
Excellent! The villa was stunning and was perfect for 5 couples. We had space to ourselves and the kitchen accommodated cooking for large groups. Having a pool was fantastic especially given how hot it was.
Enjoyed Most:
The kitchen, pool and outdoor eating facilities were highlights. The view was beautiful and having an outdoor cooking area was an asset. Everything was clean and well maintained and the hosts were extremely helpful and responsive.
Surrounding Area:
It was within walking distance of a small town and many vineyards. Could also do daytrips to other locations. The view from the villa was incredibly beautiful.
Nearby Events or Locales:
The nearest town, San Donato, was within walking distance. Had a grocery store, butcher and restaurants.
Tips or Restaurants:
Having dinner in town outside a restaurant was a great experience. Felt like everyone in town came out when the sun came down and the food was delicious.
Directions:
We used a GPS and the address to find the location.
Check In Out:
Guilia was there for check in and check out and left contact information and was accessible if needed. She was a lovely host.
