Overall:
We took this trip to celebrate our 40th anniversary. We were joined by our three adult children and their significant others and our grandson. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this villa.
Enjoyed Most:
The property is beautiful with great views all around. It was quiet and the air was so clean and the stars so bright at night. I slept like a king. We enjoyed great food and wine and did some travel to Siena and Florence but most enjoyed staying at the villa and taking short day trips right in the area to great wineries and castles and restaurants.
Enjoyed Least:
The weather was a bit rainy and cooler than we had hoped.
The pool on the property was beautiful and very private but the water was very cold so we were only able to get in a couple of days.
Surrounding Area:
The scenery is stunning and lush green. We made several ventures in to Gaiole for groceries and always ended up having a drink or two in the plaza there. It is only about 5 to 10 minutes away which was very handy.
Check In Out:
The management team at the hotel in town was very professional and most helpful. They felt bad about our rainy weather so they allowed us to use the indoor pool and spa at the hotel which was very nice. We did have massages there.
