Customer Reviews
Overall:
The property is beautiful. It seems to have been a hotel at some point so each room has a well appointed bathroom. The kitchen is a commercial kitchen which is very nice if you want to cook or if you have a large group and need to store a good amount of food in the refrigerator.
Enjoyed Most:
The pool area was amazing. When at the villa, we were either at the pool or sitting in the outside conversation area.
Enjoyed Least:
The only negative was the internet. Very short range and slow. Difficult if you need to get any work done while on vacation.
Surrounding Area:
The nearby villages were lovely and had wonderful restaurants. There was easy access to well known towns for day trips.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Villa a Sesta. There is a path to walk to the village. The restaurant at Villa Di Soto BB was great for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Tips or Restaurants:
An absolute must is the sunset castle tour, dinner and wine at Brolio Castle. Only 15 minutes away. The birthplace of Chianti wine which was developed by Barone Ricasoli.
Directions:
Visitors must follow the written directions on the letter of instructions for the final turns. GPS will take you on a wild goose chase.
