Nestled amongst the old-world charms of Pognana Lario, the villa is within walking distance of a small local supermarket selling fresh meats, cheeses and antipasti, a bar and a local restaurant. The ferry which operates a summertime schedule to Como and other destinations on the Lake can also be reached in 5 minutes from the main road. A bus stop with links to the surrounding towns can also be found along the main road.
In addition to lake activities such as water sports, boat rentals, sailing, and swimming, Lake Como is well-known for its outstanding villa attractions, botanical gardens and its fine Italian dining experiences.
Milan: 1.5 hour drive

The villa is accessed via a narrow cobble-stone street. The entrance leads down to a private inner courtyard, with sliding glass doors opening to a luxury professional kitchen. The former vaulted wine cellar has been transformed into a covered lake view sitting area with a bistro table, wooden chairs and a fridge. There is also a sunny lower terrace with lake views and a BBQ. Due to the villa's location, a car is recommended. The villa is reachable on foot from a nearby public parking area. One public parking space can be found along the main road overlooking the villa and another space can be found approximately 400 meters away, on the hillside.

Ground Floor: The professional kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances and breakfast bar for 3 people. There is an 8-ring gas stove, an oven with rotisserie function, a pizza oven, toaster, American fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. Floor-to-ceiling sliding doors lead out to the flagstone inner courtyard.
First Floor: The living room features lake views, SKY TV with DVD player, leather sofa and two chairs, and a fireplace. The lake view dining room features rustic stone walls, a wood burning stove, and a large table with 8 chairs. The master bedroom has a double bed (160cm x 200cm), a lake view balcony, and ensuite bathroom with two sinks, toilet, bidet, and free-standing tub with lake views. There is a guest bathroom with toilet.
Second Floor: There are two bedrooms, each with double bed (160cm x 200cm) and lake views. There is a bathroom with two sinks, toilet, bidet, and shower.
Top Floor: There is a loft a Japanese-style double bed (160cm x 200cm), a single sofa bed (suitable for a child), and an office space.
