Location Description

The villa’s hilltop position ensures amazing views of the city of Florence and the Tuscan countryside. It’s located just a quick drive to the city center or a 40 minute train ride. See the Duomo, the Academy Gallery, and Palazzo Vecchio firsthand, then go shopping in one of the open-air or flea markets filled with antiques and other goods. For more high-end shopping, be sure to visit Via dei Tornabuoni. Don’t forget to marvel at the statue of Davide or tour the wonders of the Uffizi Gallery either!

Exterior Description

Villa Milo is nestled on top of 5 acres of private land, dotted with olive trees. A terraced garden surrounds the villa with ponds, fountains, lemon trees, persimmon trees, strawberry grapevine and flowers. A large outdoor Jacuzzi-like pool (160 x 150 inches, not heated) presents a view of Florence.

Interior Description

This 15th century historical villa has been restored to perfection. Inside, you will find elegant, yet comfortable interiors. The villa presents two large living rooms and a bright, spacious dining room. Plenty of cozy corners make comfortable perches for reading, relaxing, and private conversation. A spacious, fully equipped kitchen connects to a rear garden, perfect for alfresco dining. Seven bedrooms are decorated tastefully. The tower section consists of an independent, yet connected apartment that provides its own kitchenette.
Ground Floor: The ground floor features a large living room with a fireplace as its focal point. A small sitting room decorated with frescoes and a fireplace creates a lovely space for conversation or reading. A bathroom on this floor provides a sink, toilet and bidet. The dining room hosts a table for 12. The kitchen is equipped with an Italian coffee maker, American coffee maker, oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and deep freezer.
First Floor: There are 4 bedrooms on this floor. Bedroom 1 provides a queen size bed (165 cm x 190 cm) and an ensuite bathroom with tub, sink, toilet and bidet. Bedroom 2 hosts a queen size (165 cm x 190 cm) and an ensuite bathroom with tub, sink, toilet and bidet. Bedroom 3 provides a queen size bed (165 cm x 190 cm). This room shares a bathroom with bedroom 4. Bedroom 4 provides a single bed (80 cm x 190 cm). The bathroom is shared with bedroom 3, and provides a shower, sink, toilet and bidet.
Upper Floor/Tower: There is a large suite that provides a queen size bed (165 cm x 190 cm). It has an ensuite bathroom with shower, sink, toilet and bidet. The suite also provides a small living room, kitchenette and attic space with a TV.
Lower Level: There are 2 bedrooms on this floor. Bedroom 1 has a single bed (80 cm x 190 cm) and an ensuite bathroom with shower, sink, toilet and bidet. Bedroom 2 hosts twin beds (80 cm x 190 cm each) that can be adjoined . A separate bathroom is equipped with a shower, sink, toilet and bidet. A laundry room on this level contains a washer, dryer, iron, and ironing board.
Lower Garden Level: Spa Area: the old cellars have been adapted to accommodate a luxurious 3m x 2 m built-in heated whirlpool. The whirlpool has a salt filter (no chlorine) so it’s gentler on the skin. A bathroom provides a shower, sink and toilet.
