Tucked away in the tranquil mountainside, overlooking the lake, this modern townhouse near Como is a lovely destination for a family or two couples. The well-furnished terrace is designed to make the most of outdoor living, from alfresco meals and sunset toasts to lounging in chairs on the grass.

Location Description

The townhouse is located in the small, fashionable mountainside village of Moltrasio, which has lush gardens, a small private beach (with entrance fee), as well as shops, a bank, a post office and a church. The village center is 270 meters from the villa and may be reached via 3-minute walk along a sidewalk or a road shared with cars. A 5-minute walk will bring you to the public boats, which make stops up and down the lakeside villages. You are also only 4 kilometers away from the resort town of Cernobbio, home of Hotel Villa d’Este in Cernobbio, a renowned Renaissance residence that was converted into a luxury hotel in the 1800s. One of the best views of the lake is Piazza Cavour, on the banks of the lake in the 2000-year-old town of Como. There is an abundance of cafes, pubs, restaurants and nightlife, shops, and several other attractions to suit any appetite. Como offers frequent ferry service to the central lake areas as well as connections to Milan. A car is necessary.

Exterior Description

The private terrace is furnished with a sofa, two armchairs and a dining table for 6. There is a table for 4 under a shaded pagoda, a barbecue and a grassy area with sunbeds. There is also a private garage. There are 90 steps from the parking area to the house.

Interior Description

Ground Floor: The open-plan living area is furnished with an L-shaped sofa, armchair, flat-screen TV with satellite, DVD player and doors to the terrace. The dining area has a table for up to 6, stereo, and doors to the terrace. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, electric tea kettle, washing machine, counter seating and terrace access. There is a bathroom with a bathtub, handheld shower, sink, toilet and hairdryer. A wood-and-glass staircase leads to the first floor.

First Floor: There are two bedrooms. The first bedroom is the master bedroom and has a queen-size bed (160 cm) and lake views. The second bedroom also has a queen-size bed (160 cm). The is a third bedroom with bunk beds (90 cm each). There are two separate bathrooms, each with a shower, sink, toilet and hairdryer.
