About The Experience

Soak in the beauty of Provence as you stroll through gardens filled with olive groves, roses, lavender and huge plane trees. This beautifully renovated 18th-century farmhouse is situated on a large, landscaped estate near the center of Saint Remy de Provence. The property also contains two other farmhouses that can be rented separately.

Location Description

Saint Rémy is the most famous town of the Alpilles, and has excellent shopping, quiet cafés and restaurants (70 m) and a wonderful market on Wednesdays. Saint Rémy is very close to Avignon and its theater festival, art galleries, cultural events, gastronomic restaurants and TGV station. Located between Luberon, Camargue and Cévennes, Saint Rémy is about 75 km from Marseille International Airport.

Exterior Description

(9,000 m2) The grounds include a French garden, pond with fountain, lavender and a spectacular arbor leading to the patio. There is an infinity pool (17.50 m x 5.50 m) that overflows into a 10 m2 wading area (20 cm deep) is equipped with air/water jets, counter flow swimming and pool alarm systems. There is also a barbecue, petanque court and ping-pong table.

Interior Description

(450 m2)
Ground floor: A wide living area is made up of three air-conditioned rooms (120 m2 in total) that contain a large fireplace, a sectional couch, dining table for eight, satellite TV, DVD player, CD player, iPod docking station (BOSE, with adaptor for iPhone 5), WiFi and an office area with a printer/scanner. The fully equipped kitchen holds a 110 cm Falcon stove, American-style fridge with ice maker, steam oven, blender, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, Nespresso machine, steamer, wine cellar cupboard, fridge/freezer, juicer and back office. There is also a laundry room with tumble dryer and washing machine.
First floor: There are four bedrooms. A large master bedroom with a king-size bed (180 cm) opens onto a lovely terrace overlooking the Alpilles and the property’s garden. The room has closets, air conditioning, TV, DVD and a large ensuite bathroom with shower, tub and separate toilet. The second bedroom also has a king-size bed (180 cm), air conditioning, TV and ensuite bathroom with tub and toilet. The third bedroom has a queen-size bed (160 cm) air conditioning, and an ensuite bathroom with a shower and toilet. The fourth bedroom has a king-size bed (180 cm), with a separate bathroom (not ensuite) with a shower and toilet. For this bedroom there is no air conditioning, but there is a fan available upon request.
Second floor: The remaining two bedrooms (bedrooms 5 and 6) form a big suite that shares a bathroom containing a shower, tub and separate toilet. Bedroom 5 has a king-size bed (180 cm) with air conditioning, TV and DVD. Bedroom 6 has two single beds (90 cm each), which can be combined to form a king-size bed upon prior request.

Please Note:

• There are 3 villas on the same estate, but each has its own grounds and pool and has privacy.
• All the bedrooms have window screens.
• All king-size beds can be configured as two singles on request.
• All bedrooms except bedroom #4 are air conditioned.
• Hair dryers are available in each bathroom.
• Pool heating must be requested 24 hours in advance, paid prior to service.
• Cleaning service is provided 4 hours daily from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm (kitchen, pool house and terraces, rooms and bathrooms), except on Sunday. On check-out day cleaning starts at 8 am.
• Garden/pool maintenance is provided daily.
• A handyman is usually present every day for 2 hours.
• Guests receive a welcome basket with champagne; red, rosé and white wines; olive oil; Nespresso capsules; still and sparkling water; orange juice; coffee and tea; sugar and milk.
• Guests can order favorite Nespresso capsule 1 month before arrival.
• Property may be rented with Angelique, with the name of Le Mas de Levande,for large parties up to 24.
