Soak in the beauty of Provence as you stroll through gardens filled with olive groves, roses, lavender and huge plane trees. This beautifully renovated 18th-century farmhouse is situated on a large, landscaped estate near the center of Saint Remy de Provence. The property also contains two other villas, each with its own garden and pool, that can be rented separately.

Location Description

Saint Rémy is the most famous town of the Alpilles, and has excellent shopping, quiet cafés and restaurants (70 m) and a wonderful market on Wednesdays. Saint Rémy is very close to Avignon and its theater festival, art galleries, cultural events, gastronomic restaurants and TGV station. Located between Luberon, Camargue and Cévennes, Saint Rémy is about 75 km from Marseille International Airport.

Exterior Description

(12,000 m2) The grounds feature 1.3 hectares of landscaped park with Provencal fountains, olive trees, lavender fields and fruit trees. There is a petanque court and a large swimming pool (16 x 7.2 m depth) surrounded by 8 sun beds and 4 umbrellas. In front of the swimming pool is a pool house that has a fully equipped kitchen with a U.S. fridge, barbecue, crockery and appliances. There is also a shower and toilet near the pool, as well as a summer kitchen.

Interior Description

The property has two parts: the original 17th-century section and a contemporary section.

Ground Floor: There is a large, air-conditioned living room with a fireplace, two sofas, TV with international channels, DVD, CD player, HiFi and iPod docking station. The fully equipped kitchen has a U.S. fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven, microwave, wine cellar, food processor, blender, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine and juicer. The kitchen has a back office. There is a round eat-in table for 6 and a dining area with a more formal table for 8. There are 4 air-conditioned bedrooms. The first bedroom has a king-size bed (180 cm) and an ensuite bathroom with shower, tub, basin, toilet and hair dryer. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed (160 cm) and ensuite bathroom with shower, basin, toilet and hair dryer. The third bedroom has a king-size bed (180 cm) and an ensuite bathroom with shower, basin, toilet and hair dryer. This is an independent bedroom in the old orangery.

First Floor: This room is air conditioned and has a king-size bed (180 cm) and an ensuite bathroom with a shower, basin, toilet and hair dryer.

• There are 3 villas on the same estate, but each has its own grounds and pool and has privacy.
• All king-size beds can be configured as two singles on request.

• Hair dryers are available in each bathroom.
• Pool Heating must be requested 24 hours in advance, paid prior to service.
• Maid Service is provided 4 hours daily (except Sunday), from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM (kitchen, pool house and terraces, bedrooms and bathrooms). On check-out day cleaning starts at 8:00 AM. Additional Maid Service can be arranged for an additional fee.
• Garden/pool maintenance is provided daily.
• A handyman is usually present every day for 2 hours.
