For a fun-filled vacation in Tuscany with your large group of family members and friends, this villa is just four kilometers from Lucca; well-located and full of historical character. Olive oil and wine are produced on the estate’s grounds (and available for purchase!). This villa dates back to the year 1500: it once belonged to one of the wealthiest families in the area. It has a private pool, great views, and is within walking distance of a bakery.

Location Description

The property is located 300 meters from a bakery and four kilometers from Lucca. Lucca is worth enjoying simply for its medieval charm, but there are also a number of interesting sights to visit. The Duomo di San Martino and the Church of San Michele in Foro are both gorgeous examples of period architecture, while the Casa di Puccini, where the composer was born, has been transformed into a small museum in his honor. You can also climb the 130-foot Torre Guinigi, but you might prefer to view the tree-topped tower from below -- it's a lot less work! Day trips can include Pisa, Viareggio, and Florence.

Exterior Description

(300 m2) This villa is situated on a large estate and is surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. It dates back to the 15th century and still has original vaulted ceilings, a cellar, and stone staircase. There is a garden with trees, flowers, and vines. The gazebo is furnished with a table and chairs as well as outdoor sofas and a barbecue. It looks out onto the grass-landscaped lawn and private swimming pool (8m x 15m) with sun loungers. There is also a shared tennis court that guests can use upon request. Parking is available within the property grounds.

Interior Description

Ground Floor: There is a living room with a couch, chairs, fireplace, and French doors leading to the garden. The dining room has a large table with chairs as well as French doors leading to the garden and olive groves. The kitchen is equipped with a cook-top, oven, microwave, coffee maker, and dishwasher. Also on this floor is a study with a desk and computer for guests to use. There are two bedrooms on this floor. The first bedroom has a 180 cm king-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and tub with a handheld shower. The second bedroom has a 180 cm king-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower. There is also a guest bathroom.

First Floor: A staircase leads up to an open room with a piano as well as four bedrooms. The first bedroom has a 180 cm king-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower. The second bedroom has a 180 cm king-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom with a sink, toilet, shower, and tub. The third bedroom has two 90 cm single beds and an ensuite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower. The fourth bedroom is a suite and has a living area with a table and chairs, a couch, a TV (local channels only), a 160 cm queen-sized bed, and an ensuite bathroom with a sink, toilet, shower, and Jacuzzi tub.

Second Floor: A staircase leads up to a cinema and games room with chairs, a TV (local channels only), DVD player, and billiards table. There are also five bedrooms and four bathrooms on this floor. The first bedroom has two 160 cm queen-sized beds and an ensuite bathroom with a sink, toilet, shower, and tub. The second bedroom has a 160 cm queen-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower. The third bedroom has a 160 cm queen-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and tub with a handheld shower. The fourth and fifth bedrooms each have two 90 cm single beds and share a bathroom with a sink, toilet, and tub with a handheld shower.
