Location Description

This charming house is located in the Lombardy region on the eastern shore of Lake Como. It is only 3 km from the lakeshore town of Varenna. Built on a rocky outcropping over the lake, Varenna is populated with beautiful old houses and romantic panoramas. Varenna is a great starting point for visits to the north and center of Italy, as well as the southern base of the Swiss Alps. Varenna has shops, restaurants, a railroad station and a ferry. Both Milano Linate and Milano Malpensa airports are less than two hours away. Nearby attractions include the castle of Vezio and the Villa Monastero, a neo-classical garden offering a long walk along the lakeshore. Other resort towns of Lake Como, including Tramezzo, Bellagio, and Menaggio are all easily reachable by ferry.

Nearby Attractions: Hiking, golf club at Menaggio (4 km + 4 km by ferry), clay tennis court (maintained by the local tennis club), neighboring lakes (Maggiore, Orta, Garda, Lugano).

Exterior Description

(500 m2) This villa is a single-story detached home that is part of a large estate. Tucked away from the other homes on the estate, the house is surrounded by garden and trees. There is an outdoor barbecue and a shared tennis court for guest enjoyment.

Interior Description

(90 m2) Built on one level, the villa has been furnished in good taste with a modern style. The living/dining room has a couch, armchair and a dining table with seating for six. There is a light and bright kitchen featuring a microwave, cook-top stove, oven, washing machine, dishwasher, American coffee maker, Italian coffee maker, toaster and kettle. The first bedroom has a 160 cm standard double bed. The second bedroom has two 90 cm single beds that can be joined together upon request. There is a separate bathroom with a sink, bidet, WC and a bathtub with hand-held shower head.

• Unless rented with Villa Angelina 3, guests do not have access to the pool.

• This villa can be rented along with Casa Antonella 3 and Villa Angelina 3, all on the same estate.
• Housekeeping is included two hours every Tuesday and Thursday
• Internet access is available in the reception office
