Please do note that this property is situated in an ancient hilltop town, in which the day-to-day lifestyle continues as it has for generations. You will hear the sounds of the local church bells and clocks chiming throughout the day. Please also note that because of the location of this town, in the mountains, the water pressure can be erratic, particularly during times of the day when water demand is high. Enjoyed Most:
The view and the pool.
Enjoyed Least:
I honestly liked everything.
Surrounding Area:
The views and the hike, and the restaurant right outside the house was great!
Nearby Events or Locales:
Coreglia Antelminelli was the village it was in, very small, but had a few grocery shops and restaurants, all i needed. Loved it.
Tips or Restaurants:
The restaurant right outside the villa is so good

Overall:
Our overall experience was excellent. Everyone has a wonderful time.
Enjoyed Most:
We liked having the various places to be (living room, dining room, several outdoor spaces) - it did not feel crowded even though it was small, the decor and furnishings were lovely, the pool was wonderful, the landscaping and flowers were beautiful,
Enjoyed Least:
The living room sofa was a bit small for four people (the other chairs were not very comfortable), the bunk beds in the one bedroom were a bit noisy when the person on top moved.
Surrounding Area:
The grocery store and restaurants in walking distance, the view, the hiking trail.
Nearby Events or Locales:
The villa is in the village of Coreglia Antelminelli which was within walking distance.
Tips or Restaurants:
The L'Arcile restaurant was very good.
Directions:
The written directions were hard to follow while driving (too detailed). We did use a GPS and the note of what to put into the GPS was helpful (to avoid the small dirt roads).
Check In Out:
The check in procedure said we needed a 290 Euro deposit, which was not required. Check out was very easy, just left the key in the door.

Overall:
We had a very enjoyable time at Casa Coreglia. The views from the living room were very nice. The location was great for day trips to various locations, such as Pisa and Lucca. The weather was a little to cool to enjoy the pool.
Enjoyed Most:
The location was very relaxing and well situated for day trips.
Enjoyed Least:
Getting our luggage from the car to the house. It is uphill all the way.
Surrounding Area:
Seeing parts of Italy which were not overly touristy and more relaxed than the big cities.
Nearby Events or Locales:
The property was situated in an ancient walled village. It was very serene. There was a family run restaurant, a pub, a convenience store and a home supply store.
Tips or Restaurants:
The family run restaurant right by the property was excellent. We were there just before tourist season began, so the restaurant wasn't always open. A few times I went in and ordered dinner to go.
Directions:
The directions provided were very good. BUT, we had a lot of time before our check in so we decided to take the scenic route. We used a GPS. We were coming from a location just south of Firenze. Our route was scenic, in fact the GPS routed us in the back way. The mountain roads we were on were interesting. We did have to call Annamaria, the key holder, as we were very lost once we hit the vicinity. She was excellent to deal with. I would definitely recommend following the directions provided on the rental voucher.
Check In Out:
Check in was great. The key was in the mailbox when we arrived. Jacapo, son of the restaurant owner, helped us get our luggage to the house. A bit later on Annamaria came by to make sure everything was OK and to give us an explanation of the property.
