Location Description

This villa is located within driving distance of Heraklion, just 2 km from the port of Hersonissos and about 700 meters from the beach and a short walk to the famed Star Beach water park. By olive groves, this vacation residence is located on the edge of a picturesque and traditional little village overlooking the gulf of Hersonissos and Malia—all of which combines to create a fantastic panoramic view! All of your necessities can be found in the village, including traditional coffee shops and taverns offering authentic Cretan food. For banks and a more extensive selection of shops and restaurants, you can drive to Hersonissos. The town of Hersonissos is about 26 km east of Heraklion, and is the most developed tourist area of Crete. There are many restaurants, bars, and clubs where you can find entertainment from the afternoon to the early morning hours. There are also several beaches in the area, most offering various facilities and water sports. Nearby are the Heraklion Archaeological Museum, the Palace of Knossos, and the Palace of Malia. Driving around the area, you can find traditional villages where the original architecture has been preserved.

Exterior Description

(2,000 m2) Built in 2005, this villa has been constructed with all natural stones and is surrounded by a garden which includes a lawn, flowers, and trees. The private swimming pool (30 m2), has a Jacuzzi (not heated) and is surrounded by a patio with gorgeous ocean views. There is also a barbeque area and a playground for children.

Interior Description

(130 m2)
Ground Floor: Decorated by a professional design team, the front door of this villa opens into an open-plan kitchen/living/dining room. The living area has a comfortable corner sofa with a fireplace, satellite TV, DVD player, stereo, and direct views of the sea and pool. The corner kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, and toaster. The dining area is between the living room and the kitchen, with a table for six in front of the veranda. There is also a small guest toilet and a storage room with a washing machine and iron.

First Floor: A wooden staircase leads upstairs, where you will find three bedrooms. The master bedroom contains a 160 cm queen-size iron bed, a wardrobe, chest of drawers, and TV. It also has a balcony with sea views and an ensuite bathroom with shower, toilet, and sink. The second and third bedrooms each contain a pair of twin-beds, which can be joined to form larger beds upon request. These rooms also have their own wardrobes, drawers, and balcony access with sea views. They share one bathroom with a sink, toilet, and Jacuzzi bathtub with a handheld shower-head.
