Location Description

Due to its location in the Tuscan countryside, this villa is surrounded by many towns and villages nearby. With food and shops in the town of Bettolle only a kilometer away, you will be able to eat out whenever you’d like at restaurants specializing in home made pasta as well as buy groceries should you decide to cook dinner at home. Nearby Sinalunga has a train station that can connect you to other Italian cities like Siena or Florence. There are also opportunities to take walking tours or bicycle tours of Tuscany where you can learn more about the culture and surrounding regions. Montepulciano is also nearby and a great destination for a day trip for, like many Tuscan cities, they are known to produce great wines. Many of the buildings date back to the 14th century but the castle is believed to date back to the year 715. There are also restaurants and plenty of things to eat should you get hungry during your exploring. Another possible day trip is Cortona, a city filled with beautiful art, shops, and restaurants, as well as being one the most famous towns in Tuscany.

Exterior Description

This Tuscany villa complex dates back to the 18th century and is comprised of a farmhouse and three former barns, each made of brick and stone. Situated on the top of a hill with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, this property has a large amount of land to take walks or have picnics. There are two private swimming pools on the estate. The pools are open from early May to the end of October. The first (4m x 10m) is an oval shape and features a small bridge going over the center of it and the second (16m x 6m) is long and rectangular. Parking is available within the grounds.

The property is composed of a farmhouse, which is divided into two units, and three barns.

Farmhouse Apartment One (Sleeps 10)
Ground Floor: There is a large living room featuring a satellite TV as well as a dining table and a bar corner. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, dishwasher, and freezer and there are two WC’s on this floor.

First Floor: Accessible from the outside, the first floor has a living room with a fireplace and four double bedrooms, each with a queen-sized bed (160 cm) and an en suite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower.

Second Floor: The second floor has one bedroom with a queen-sized bed (160 cm) and an en suite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower.

Farmhouse Apartment Two (Sleeps 4)
Ground Floor: There is a living area with a kitchen corner equipped with an oven and a freezer, as well as one bedroom with a queen-sized bed (160 cm) and an ensuite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower. This apartment has direct access to the gazebo and one of the pools.

First Floor: One bedroom with a queen-sized (160 cm) with an en suite bathroom equipped with a sink, toilet, and tub is featured on this floor.

Barn One (Sleeps 2-3)
Ground Floor: A living room with a fireplace and sofa bed is situated on this floor. The kitchen corner is equipped with an oven and a dining area with a table and chairs. There is one bedroom with a queen-sized bed (160 cm) and a bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower. This apartment has direct access to the gazebo and one of the pools.

Barn Two (Sleeps 2)
Ground Floor: There is a living area with a fireplace, a kitchen corner equipped with an oven and dining area, one bedroom with a queen-sized bed (160 cm), and a bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower.

Barn Three (Sleeps 4)
Ground Floor: There is a living area with a kitchen corner equipped with an oven and a dishwasher as well as a dining area with a table and chairs.

First Floor: Two bedrooms each with queen-sized beds (160 cm) have en suite bathrooms equipped with a sink, toilet, and shower. This apartment has a private terrace furnished with a table and chairs.
