Well, this wonderful property even has screens on the windows and a 17th century farmhouse to call “home.” It that’s not enough, there is a lovely common room for relaxing, as well as a solar-heated pool.

The farmhouse is situated on a beautiful 1800-acre farm estate. There are rolling hills, woods, lakes, and game such as deer, pheasants, partridges, and hares. Siena is only 12 km away, and the estate is just 300 meters from the small town of Monteroni d'Arbia.

This 17th century farmhouse offers all the modern comforts in a rustic setting. Refurbished with great attention to detail, the farmhouse boasts materials such as travertine marble, wrought iron, and clay bricks. The farmhouse is situated on a beautiful 1800-acre farm estate. There are rolling hills, woods, lakes, and game such as deer, pheasants, partridges, and hares. There are five independent apartments, sleeping a maximum of twelve people. There is a reception office, a common room with stereo, a covered outdoor dining area, and a ping pong table. There are ten mountain bikes available for the use of the guests. The apartments share a solar heated swimming pool (12m x 5m). Next to the pool there is a barbecue with chairs and a dining table. The pool is equipped with umbrellas, lawn chairs, and a swing. The property is located near a road.

An independent converted barn, with fireplace, air conditioning, and satellite TV. There is a master bedroom with king size bed (180 cm) and en suite bathroom, a loft with a queen size bed (160 cm, open to the living room), and a second bathroom with jacuzzi tub and handheld shower. There is also a narrow folding bed (80 cm, most comfortable for a young person). There is also a living room with a sofa bed, a kitchen, and a balcony with a view of the Arbia valley.

Overall:
Wonderful! The property is great for families, with lots of games available and outdoor activities. But, it is also very quiet and not in the middle of a crowded area. It would be great for couples, too.
Enjoyed Most:
The way the property was set up with plenty of room for anything you wanted to do. The bikes were fun. We enjoyed ping pong and archery. The pool was a large and very pretty, overlooking the Tuscan hills and fields.
Surrounding Area:
Grocery shopping was easy and fun at the village Coop Store. Walking, running and bike riding around the property were beautiful! We saw deer and pheasants. There were a few good restaurants in the village that we really enjoyed. Driving on the surrounding dirt roads in the Tuscan countryside was fun.

Get out and explore the countryside.

They were fine. We drove right to it. Yes, we did use GPS.

Overall:
We had a lovely stay in Tuscany. Upon arrival, they had stocked the kitchen for the first morning's breakfast and they showed us how to use the Italian coffee maker.
Enjoyed Most:
Location was great. Short distance to many of the lovely Tuscan towns.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Yes , we picked up a pizza one night and walked home and enjoyed it at the house. We did use the laundromat in town and it was clean and machines functioned well.
Directions:
A map would be helpful to have included in the final instructions. We did have trouble finding the home when we arrived in town.
Check In Out:
Check in and check out was effortless.

Overall:
Hosts were wonderful, property exceeded expectations. Only problem was we didnt get to stay longer!

Surrounding Area:
Monteroni was a nice little town with a good restaurant, laundromat and bakery. Very convenient to Siena, Chianti and Brunello vineyards.

Monteroni D'Arbia and yes.
Directions:
Coming from Monteroni it was an asphalt road; you then turned left onto the white road.
Check In Out:
Went smoothly, recommend you buy a few bottles of wine and some olive oil to enjoy while staying.
