Overall:
This is the second time we have rented the apartment - first time in the winter. Overall, it was an very good experience.
Enjoyed Most:
Its location.
Enjoyed Least:
The fact that no garbage service was provided - we had to haul our trash to the nearest dumpster which was three blocks away. Editor's Notes: The city of Florence has limited the dumpsters in the center, so there is nothing that the owner can do about this.
Surrounding Area:
Everything - great sites, restaurants, shopping, etc.
Tips or Restaurants:
Bring quick dry towels - you can wash the towels provided in the apartment, but with no dryer they take days to dry. Cippolla Rosa near the San Lorenzo market was our favorite restaurant in the city - children friendly, great service, outstanding food!
Directions:
Apartment is very easy to find, but if you drive to it you will be slapped with a 150 euro ticket which you will receive in the mail 6 months later. The property is in a limited travel zone so you need to park by the train station and either walk your things there or cab it. We decided to take the ticket because we had so much luggage it would have been impossible to transport it any other way.

Staff at the office in the building is exceptionally helpful and pleasant.

Our greeter was on time and very pleasant. Check-out was a breeze.

Overall:
Great apartment for two couples....lots of room.
Enjoyed Most:
The living room was enormous and tastefully furnished. The AC worked quite well. The bedrooms were at the rear and quiet.
Enjoyed Least:
There were no issues.
Surrounding Area:
The restaurants, shopping and close proximity to everything.
Nearby Events or Locales:
We were in the center of Florence.
Tips or Restaurants:
No need to bring anything as the apartment is beautiful We did borrow wine glasses from La Posta as there were none in the apartment.

Overall:
Very well decorated. Presentable to sophisticated guests.

Waiting for the elevator if someone else has used it and forgot to close the gate.

Overall:
Definitely, a 5.
The apartment was much larger than it appeared from the photographs. It was
very well furnished and provisioned. Luckily, it was also quiet because
Florence can be very noisy.
Enjoyed Most:
The location was terrific for seeing the sights of Florence. It was located
between the Duomo and Santa Maria Novella. The shopping on Via Tournabuoni
is legendary. It was also conveniently located close to markets, green
grocers, and some very fine restaurants.
Enjoyed Least:
Although there was a clothes washer, there was no dryer. The apartment
really, really needed a dryer. The towels were stiff as boards when we used
the drying racks the manager assured us would suffice for our laundry needs.
Surrounding Area:
The streets directly behind the apartment had all the conveniences, with a
green grocer, butcher, bakery, laundry, etc. Next door was the Cantinetta
Antinori with great food and serving the very fine Antinori wines.
Nearby Events or Locales:
We made day trips to San Gimignano, Siena, Fiesole and Chianti. All were
enjoyable. The Tuscan countryside was just so spectacular.
Tips or Restaurants:
It was hard to find a bad restaurant unless you were on Piazza della
Repubblica. Our favorites were Cantinetta Antinori, Garga, Cammilo.

Overall:
The apartment exceeded our expectations and was quite lovely. We were overwhelmed and did not know what to expect. We were exhausted after an extremely long journey, and after we walked in all of our bad flight experiences were forgotten.
Enjoyed Most:
Everything! It was in a wonderful location with a gracious concierge, a lovely view, beautiful appointments, and incredible architecture.
Enjoyed Least:
A few days with no hot water.
Surrounding Area:
The architecture, art, churches, and shops were great. The proximity to everything was also nice.
Nearby Events or Locales:
There were parades, fireworks, antique shops, trattorias, fruit stand, and lovely small markets.
Tips or Restaurants:
Try to leave the city and go to the hills for restaurants. It is less touristy.

Overall:
Well priced. Surpassed my expectations as to appearance. Excellent location. Stores nearby. Locals friendly. Views were of the church facade across the street. Adequately equipped. Could use more surface area in bathroom.
Enjoyed Most:
I liked the ambiance inside the apartment.
