Overall:
It was very nice. Our expectations were for a wonderful trip and villa, and they were met. Positano is a great little town. Good workout walking up and down the hills.
Enjoyed Most:
We sat outside under the lemon tree canopy most every afternoon-evening.
Enjoyed Least:
The furniture inside was kind of on the smallish side, so we didn't use the living areas much.
Surrounding Area:
Lots of good restaurants in walking distance.
Nearby Events or Locales:
All of Positano is in walking distance unless you've got problems navigating steep hills or stairs.
Tips or Restaurants:
We didn't have a bad meal - some were better than others, but try them all.
Nothing really needed other than what you'd take to a hotel. BTW, Traveler's checks are useless nowadays - nobody will accept them except the drivers we hired.
Directions:
We hired a driver.

Overall:
It was lovely. The owner called us to see if everything was alright. He also sent over a bottle of Prosecco with his card - such a nice gesture. I highly recommend this property.
Enjoyed Most:
The location, furnishings and hospitable owner.
Enjoyed Least:
It was quite noisy at night
Surrounding Area:
The village, restaurants, local shops and beach.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Positano.
Tips or Restaurants:
Every local restaurant was excellent! Bring comfortable shoes.

Overall:
It's a great villa for several people, very spacious and a great kitchen! We cooked a big dinner one night and had all the cookware and dishes that we needed. We wished it was closer to the heart of Positano, but the bus stop was close by.
Enjoyed Most:
The beautiful views from the terrace.
Enjoyed Least:
The downstairs smelled "musty".
Surrounding Area:
Everything!
Nearby Events or Locales:
We were closest to Positano, which we LOVE!
Tips or Restaurants:
The villa was well stocked. We especially liked La Cambusa restaurant down by the main beach.
Check In Out:
I wished that we had been advised to read the "notebook" on the villa we found in the kitchen the last day, because after reading it, we found information that would have been helpful from the start of our stay.

Overall:
It is just elegant. Nothing more can be said.
Enjoyed Most:
The property was an elegant estate. We were the only two people in it, so we cannot comment on the second and third bedrooms, although they seemed fine. The setting is of course what makes it all happen. It is not for those who don't want to walk, but if you don't walk, don't go to Positano. I cannot identify a feature, only to say that the villa went beyond my expectations.
Enjoyed Least:
There is nothing negative. As I said about the best part of the property, it is probably the worst part. There are a lot of steps. For me, that is not only the charm of Positano, but allowed me to return home not feeling bloated from the wonderful food in the area and without exercise. It depends on your view as to the steps. The same is true of the noise. While you are generally above it, you can hear the cars, scooters and cycles, but that cannot be avoided if you want to be where the action is. My experience is such that I would gladly rent the place again.
Surrounding Area:
Positano is paradise as are all the local areas. Since we were there last year and explored the area, we didn't travel out as much, although we took the trip to Capri, which is beautiful, but no more beautiful that Positano.
Nearby Events or Locales:
The center is right down the road. From house to beach is about 350 steps or walk down a winding path. We did that at least once daily and sometimes several times. Walk up, and at the top of the hill is another little store area of Positano.
Tips or Restaurants:
All the restaurants are wonderful. My wife told me I couldn't tell her that I had the best meal of my life everyday, but I did. The most important thing to bring are comfortable walking shoes and if you don't like walking, choose another vacation.
Directions:
It is hard to give better directions because the roads are not easy and concentrating on road signs is difficult. If we go back next year, we may decide there is no need for a car, with buses, cabs and ferries readily available.
Check In Out:
Antonietta could not have been nicer.

Overall:
Everything was really perfect. The property could not have been more beautiful and elegant. It had multiple bedrooms and fabulous terraces. If I were to go back to Positano, I would likely only stay at this villa. The maid service and the local representative could not have been better. We met the villa's owner who was also very gracious.
Grocery stores were within easy walking distance. Although the hills were steep or the option was a more direct route using the stairs, the walking was invigorating. Alternatively, there was regular bus transportation up or down the hill for only 1 Euro.
Surrounding Area:
It was just pleasant to participate in everyday life. Positano was a beautiful little village, but filled with tourists and therefore tourist shops. We also traveled to surrounding areas, such as Ravello, Amalfi, Sorrento, etc.
Tips or Restaurants:
The best and most interesting wines were the local ones. For the best exchange rates, go to Sorrento and a bank will provide the best rates as opposed to a money changer.
