Customer Reviews

Overall:
It was most enjoyable.
Enjoyed Most:
The central location. Bedrooms and bathrooms were large, clean and comfortable.
Enjoyed Least:
The kitchen.
Surrounding Area:
Everything--except the McDonald's downstairs.
Nearby Events or Locales:
The Vatican and it was a most enjoyable walk.
Tips or Restaurants:
We enjoyed happy hour at the bar at the top of the Spanish Steps. Sunsets were good from there and the steps are full of people hanging out, playing music, enjoying the evenings.
Directions:
We used a taxi to make it simple.
Check In Out:
Calling Italian numbers was very challenging. Texting the landlord was much easier.

Enjoyed Most:
Large apartment, very comfortable.
Enjoyed Least:
No living room to speak. Floors were dirty and pans in showers drained slowly. The directions about what to do with garbage were confusing. Key to front door of building did not work; we were locked out the first night and had difficulty finding the rental agent. Editor's Note: There is now a different cleaning and check-person for the apartment. The key worked, but was old, and it has been replaced. For any problems, clients should call the local contact person right away. September, 2013.
Surrounding Area:
Plenty of cafes and restaurants close by...nice to sit outside and have an espresso and people watch. Trevi Fountain, Piazza di Spagna, Piazza del Popolo all within easy walking distance.
Tips or Restaurants:
Bring a bar of soap and some toilet paper with you.

Minda, September

Overall:
Fantastic. Good communication with owner made a pleasant experience.
Enjoyed Most:
You can't beat the location. And many bathrooms made it fast for all to get ready. Very spacious property.
Enjoyed Least:
WiFi password was hard to read. And the drains for the showers in the bathroom were very slow.
Surrounding Area:
Love the access to shopping, restaurants and piazzas.
Nearby Events or Locales:
We walked around Rome and its surrounding with no problems and we did a couple day trips via train.
Tips or Restaurants:
Adapters. We liked Edy off Via Babuino and Alla Rampa near the Piazza Spagna.
Directions:
No need for a GPS - very easy to find.
Check In Out:
The key holder met us when we arrived and went over the details. Was an easy process.

Overall:
Our experience with RentVillas was wonderful. The contact worked great in Rome and we could not have been happier!
Enjoyed Most:
We loved that each of the 4 bedrooms had its own bathroom. This was a wonderful feature. Very roomy apartment and comfortable.
Surrounding Area:
We were right in the heart of such an amazing area of Rome. Great shops, restaurants, train station and the Spanish Steps, too! A beautiful area.
Nearby Events or Locales:
We were in Rome, close to the Spagna train stop. Excellent location!
Tips or Restaurants:
We ate so very much wonderful food, I could not even begin to list all of the restaurants! Great coffee shop directly across from Spanish Steps.
Directions:
We were given very exact directions from the Rome contact. They even met us earlier on arrival day and let us check in ahead of normal check-in time. Much appreciated.
Check In Out:
All went great! We loved this whole experience! Would use again if we are lucky enough to go back to Rome!

Overall:
The overall experience was fantastic. The villa is very modern, with automatic timed lighting and mood lighting in all of the bedrooms and bathrooms. Having 5 bathrooms in a 4 bedroom villa is usually unheard of. It was a very nice luxury. Everyone was comfortable and felt safe.
Enjoyed Most:
New, modern, clean, well appointed. We liked the the bright colors of the decor. Good proximity to the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain and walking distance from literally several dozen fantastic restaurants, shopping at all levels. It's also walking distance to the Colosseum, walking distance to the Vatican, walking distance to a dozen museums. We loved the espresso machine and having WiFi!
Enjoyed Least:
The showers drained very slowly. Instructions on what to do with the trash were there but needed more elaboration. Instructions on how to use the kitchen appliances would have been helpful. We had to go online to find out how to use the espresso machine. Editor's Note: Instructions will be provided. July 2012.
Surrounding Area:
Shopping, restaurants, museums, Italian life.
Tips or Restaurants:
Bring electrical adaptors. Bring a wash cloth, there were none. Bring dish washing detergent and laundry detergent if you plan on washing any clothes. They have a very nice wash basin.
Directions:
Our driver took us there from the airport with no problem.
Check In Out:
The check-in portion of the trip was very easy. Our driver from the airport spoke with Tatiana's assistant and made the arrangements for meeting with her for us. In terms of check-out the procedure was vague. We were asked what time we were planning to leave the day we arrived. We didn't know at that time. We tried to reach the office when we were ready to leave, but there was no answer so we just left the key in the unit.
