Easy in and out, great property manager, good location with nice restaurant next door, breakfast across street and market just 2 blocks.

Not the property but least liked in Rome is how difficult it is to get a taxi.
Surrounding Area:
Near to Vatican and everything we needed close by.
Tips or Restaurants:
Good restaurant right next door and Pizzeria da Baffetto across the Tiber near Piazza Navona.
Directions:
Just get a cab. But it will be 55. Do not drive in Rome. We picked car up near Apt. and got out quickly for Tuscany.

Overall:
The apartment is bright and airy. We have been to Rome several times and try to rent in a different location each time. This was our first stay in the Vatican area. There are restaurants and stores nearby but, aside from its proximity to the Vatican, you need to take a bus or Metro to most of the other sites in the city, both of which are nearby.
Enjoyed Most:
The courtyard was lovely.
Enjoyed Least:
It just has minor annoyances common to Italian apartments: no waste basket in the bedroom, no toilet paper holder, no place to hang towels in the bathroom. I'm very tall and the kitchen cabinets were so high that even I had a problem getting dishes from them.
Surrounding Area:
We didn't spend much time in the area since we have been to the Vatican twice, and preferred to spend time visiting those sites we hadn't been to before.
Tips or Restaurants:
The apartment is reasonably well equipped. The restaurant just next door to the building offers good food at reasonable prices.

Overall:
The location was outstanding. We felt very safe. Just 2 blocks from the Vatican and a fantastic pizza and gelato place just across the street. Also very close to the metro which will take you anywhere in the city.
Enjoyed Most:
One of the most fun things we did each day is to walk to the market just 2 blocks away and get fresh fruits and vegetables. The Italians were so friendly and helpful and even though none of us could speak each other's language, we communicated and enjoyed such fresh produce. You can even purchase wine if you bring your own container for 1.67 euros per liter!
Enjoyed Least:
No air conditioning but we were provided with 2 fans which made sleeping easy with the windows opened.
