Overall:
The property and owners were wonderful! Everything about our stay went very smoothly!
Enjoyed Most:
The location, view and furnishings were all great! The antiques and iron work were amazing! There is also an outdoor seating area, kitchen, pizza oven and stone grill. What a nice treat! We also lucked out, the weather was very mild for October!
Surrounding Area:
The countryside was beautiful, mountainous, lots of trees rolling hills etc.
Nearby Events or Locales:
We could not walk to a town, you need a car.
Tips or Restaurants:
One thing I suggest the renters bring are washcloths, as they are not supplied. The owners have a book with a lots of restaurants and things to do. We did daily 'day trips'. One day it was to Florence, another Arezzo, Perugia, and Talli.
Directions:
We met the owners at a shop and she directed us to the property. We had a GPS, but not knowing the roads and driving the first time in Italy made it a little tricky...there are lots of 'roundabouts'. I suggest patience. Once you get the hang of the roads it becomes very easy to navigate the roads.
Check In Out:
Everything was very easy and pleasant. The owners were a delight!

Overall:
We had a wonderful stay at Villa Casa Felice. Everything we needed was there and the view was spectacular--as well as the villa itself. The furnishings added character to this villa and the showers and bathrooms were wonderful.
Enjoyed Most:
The large kitchen where all nine of us in the villa could cook and enjoy our meals and all be together at the same table.
Surrounding Area:
So beautiful and quiet and a wonderful place to relax with local restaurants which were wonderful to enjoy.
Tips or Restaurants:
Hair dryers and plugs that work for the villa and your own curling irons etc. They will provide but just easier if you have one in hand.
Directions:
We were taken to the villa by the owner. We did use a GPS after that.
Check In Out:
All went very smoothly.

Overall:
It was absolutely what I thought it would be ... renting a villa in the Tuscany region. We met so many wonderful Italians who owned businesses in the region and who were neighbors. I really cannot think of words to describe this enchanting experience.
Enjoyed Most:
Mainly, the iron work. It was beautiful. The villa was so "comfortable."
Surrounding Area:
The neighbors, the villages, the restaurants were fabulous.
Nearby Events or Locales:
I don't recall the name of the nearest town, but it was not within walking distance. No problem, though. It was only a short drive and well worth it.
Tips or Restaurants:
Always good restaurant finds - the smaller and more quaint, the better. We visited one restaurant that did not have a written menu, but he prepared the most amazing dishes.
Check In Out:
It was so easy. Check in and check out were so comfortable. The owners made us feel like family.
