It was truly magical for all 20 members of my family!!!

The grounds, gardens, and bedrooms and baths.

The countryside and all the chateaus nearby!!!
Nearby Events or Locales:
Beaumont-en-Veron - not really. We drove everywhere except when some went on hikes and bicycle rides.
Directions:
Directions were great. We arrived at Charles de Gaulle, took the TGV to St. Pierre de Corps, and then rented a van from National
Car Rental. Then returned it the next Saturday and went back to Paris.
Check In Out:
Be prepared to purchase extra toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and garbage bag.

The overall layout of the property and the gardens.
Surrounding Area:
The area and surrounding villages are beautiful. The wineries, chateaux and local markets are perfect excursions.
Special Experiences:
We had two fantastic meals prepared by Chef Jackie!

Overall:
We all had a wonderful time. It was our first time ever renting and it surpassed our expectations. The grounds and chateau were beautiful. The staff was so friendly and pleasant. It was truly a magical time!
Enjoyed Most:
One of the reasons we rented this property was because it had a chapel on site, which was extremely convenient considering we were getting married. There wasn't one thing in particular that we loved...because we loved it all!
Enjoyed Least:
Nothing. Everything surpassed our expectations!
Surrounding Area:
We loved the tiny villages and towns near by. It was nice an quiet. Chinon was beautiful.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Avoine was the nearest small town. It was within walking distance and had a grocery store, bakery, and all sorts of other convenient amenities. Chinon was a bigger town within driving distance that had restaurants and all sorts of shops, hair dressers, etc.
Tips or Restaurants:
They should consider hiring the chef for at least a few meals. Jacky was incredible and his meals were delicious. This was the perfect place for our wedding and to reunite our families.
Directions:
We used a GPS so we can't comment on the directions that were provided.

It was extremely easy and effortless

Overall:
Excellent. The Chateau was exceptionally well situated for easy access to many of the areas finest attractions and villages.
Enjoyed Most:
The location. The chateau was superb, and the grounds were fabulous.
Enjoyed Least:
The coach house needed more maintenance.
Surrounding Area:
The small towns and the wineries were fun, interesting, and very friendly.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Beaumont en Veron, and Antoine, were both withing walking distance.
Tips or Restaurants:
Come here to relax or see the area. You will not be disappointed from either activity.

Used a GPS system for the property and it worked excellently

The property manager was thorough and excellent to work with.
