This secluded haven is a wonderful destination if you’re looking to celebrate a family reunion or gathering. It’s located on a large estate with a private swimming pool, garden, and panoramic views of the Chiana Valley and Tuscan landscape. This holiday accommodation is comprised of a main farmhouse and a dependence, which allows two families or groups of friends their own space. Guests can easily visit Cortona and Siena by taking a quick drive or explore the countryside by bike while vacationing here.

Location Description

The property is located three kilometers from several food shops and ten kilometers from Foiano della Chiana. Foiano della Chiana features a golf course, restaurants, and shops, but its claim to fame is its annual carnival which first began in the year 1539 and is the oldest in Italy. The four districts of the town (Bombolo, Azzurri, Rustici, and Nottambuli) compete for the Carnival’s Cup by trying to build the most impressive and creative float. The ancient Etruscan town of Cortona is short drive away and is full of art, history, and culture. Tour frescoed churches from the 13th century; explore the original city walls, and then visit an art exhibit in the 16th century fortress. You are also sure to find restaurants featuring delicious Tuscan dishes and ancient tombs dating back to the second century BC. There are plenty of local shops selling antiques, crafts, wines, and olive oils. The beaches of Lake Trasimeno would provide for a pleasant day trip, as well. Here you can go wind surfing, rent a boat, and view the ancient architecture surrounding the waters. Other day trips can include Siena and Florence.

This property is comprised of a farmhouse and a dependence and is situated on a large estate in the hills of the Tuscan countryside. A terrace is furnished with tables and chairs as well as a barbecue. There is a private swimming pool (14m x 6m), children’s pool, and Jacuzzi surrounded by a sun deck with sun loungers and umbrellas. Nearby is a changing room with two showers. Covered parking is available within the property grounds.

Ground Floor: There is a living room with a couch, chairs, and satellite TV. The kitchen is equipped with a cook-top, oven, and dishwasher and has a dining area with a table and chairs. There is one bathroom on this floor with a sink, toilet, and shower.
First Floor: A staircase leads up to three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The first and second bedrooms each have a queen-sized bed (160 cm) and the third bedroom has two single beds (90 cm). The first bathroom has a sink, toilet, and tub and the second bathroom has a sink, toilet, and shower.

Dependence
Ground Floor: The entrance leads to a dining area with a table and chairs and an open kitchen equipped with a cook-top and oven. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. The first bedroom has a queen-sized bed (160 cm) and the second bedroom has two single beds (90 cm). The bathroom has a sink, toilet, and shower.The dependence is accessible from the garden.
