Walk into Imero vigli, or take the bus to the island ’ s capital, Fira, which is less than five minutes away.

Location Description

This villa is located in the village of Imerovigli on the island of Santorini. Enjoy the myriad of shops and restaurants which are within a few minutes’ walk. Close by is the town of Fira, the capital of the island, with its white houses perched on the edge of a cliff overlooking the Caldera. Explore Plateia Theotokopoulou, th e main square where all of the locals meet to dine and relax. Here you will find all kinds of shops, jewelers, cafes, restaurants, bars and night clubs. For a great day trip, visit the relaxed seaside village of Kamari which is known for its long black sandy beach.

Nearby Attractions: Imerovigli has many notable churches including Ai-Stratis and the Monastery of Saint Nikolaos. Visit Skaros, which are the remains of a Venetian castle built in 1207. Fira, traditionally reached by donkey, can now be reached by cable car or an impressive (and exhausting!) 800 steps up from the port! Visit the Santorini Archaeological Museum and the Museum of Prehistoric Ther a or shop at the central square.

Imerovigli: In Village

Exterior Description

This lovely Greek villa in the village of Imerovigli has a sm all garden, with flowering trees and potted plants. It is furnished with tables and chair s and is ideal for taking meals al fresco. Going up a set of external stairs is a stunning t errace with views over the surrounding homes, the Aegean Sea and the volcano. The t errace has a built in table and a Jacuzzi. There is no private parking at this villa (park in t own) and it is accessed by a staircase of approximately 40 stairs.

Interior Description

Ground Floor: Enter this cave-like Greek villa through the yard and into the living/dining/kitchenette. The kitchenette is equipped with a cooktop (no oven) and a microwave, as well as an electric tea kettle, a toaster, and an American coffee maker. The living space is combined and open, with a long couch along one wall, and a dining table with built in bench seating and chairs along the other. A television with satellite channels is in the corner. From the living area is a set of stairs which lead up to a loft bedroom (opening onto the living room) featuring a queen size bed (160 cm). A hallway leads to the villa’s four other bedrooms. There are two bedrooms with king-size beds (180 cm), and two bedrooms with queen size beds (160 cm). Two bathrooms, both have showers.
