The property is located in the center of Maussane-les-Alpilles, a hamlet situated at the foot of the Alpilles. The village has a grocery shop, restaurants and bakeries, and it is famous for the oil that is produced by the many surrounding olive plantations. Scenic Saint-Remy-de-Provence and its Wednesday market is 6 km away. The town is perhaps best known for the Saint Paul de Mausole hospital, where Vincent Van Gogh spent the last and most productive year of his life painting such masterpieces as "Starry Night," "Irises" and "Wheat Field with Cypresses." Throughout its history Saint Remy has been a haven for artists, musicians, and writers (including Nostradamus), and today it is alive with artists and traditions, faithfully passed on from one generation to the next.

Free parking is a 1-minute walk from the property (no onsite parking).

Ground Floor: There is an open living room, dining room and kitchen area with a sofa, armchairs, TV, doors to the terrace, an oak dining table for 10 and a fireplace. The surrounding kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, dishwasher, toaster, microwave,
American coffee maker and electric tea kettle. There is also a library with a piano. A staircase leads to the first and second floors.
First Floor: There are two large bedrooms on this floor. The first has a king-size bed (180 cm), desk and chair, and an ensuite bathroom with a shower, double sinks, toilet and hairdryer. The second has a king-size bed (180 cm), sofa, coffee table and an an ensuite bathroom with a shower, double sinks, toilet and hairdryer. A staircase leads to the second floor.
Second Floor: There are three bedrooms on this floor, each with a queen-size bed (180 cm) and an in-room or ensuite bathroom with a shower, sink, toilet and hairdryer. One of the rooms has a loft with a single bed (90 cm).
