Location Description

Villa Adele is located in the hills of Stresa, between the villages of Stresa and Baveno. Stresa is a charming town on Lake Maggiore that features a promenade, church, market, bakeries, banks, pharmacies and a ferry dock that offers boat trips to nearby towns and the Borromean Islands. A cable car runs a 20-minute route from Stresa to the summit of Mount Mottarone, where there are panoramic views of the area’s seven lakes. The Villa Pallavicino Zoological Park, which features a grand 19th-century villa, gardens and a zoo, is located on the outskirts of Stresa, 3.4 km from the villa. A car is essential.

A cobblestone driveway leads down to the villa, which offers 180-degree views of Lake Maggiore. The grounds contain olive groves, grassy areas and gardens with native trees. There are several terraces linked by steps and cobblestone walkways, with various seating areas. The upper terrace has a sofa, two armchairs, barbecue and a dining table for 8. The view spans the Gulf of Feriolo, Verbania and Luino to the Monastery of Santa Caterina del Sasso, down to beautiful Borromean Islands.

Interior Description

First Floor (Entrance Level): The open living-dining area features two sofas, two armchairs, a table and flat-screen TV, doors to the terrace and a staircase up to the loft, where there is a sofa, desk and library. The dining room has a table for 6, and the kitchen has a stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, tea kettle and table for 4. There is a bedroom with a queen-size bed (160 cm) and an ensuite bathroom with a bathtub, sink and toilet. There is also a large game room with a sofa, desk, books and games, which connects the ground floor with the garage. There is a guest bathroom with a toilet as well.

Ground Floor (Garden Level): This floor houses three bedrooms, all of which overlook the porch and the islands. The first bedroom has a queen-size bed (160 cm) and an ensuite bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed (160 cm) and an armchair, and the third has two single beds (90 cm each) and a couch. These rooms share a bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet.
