A family who wants to soak up the serenity of the northern lakes will find a comfortable retreat in this villa nestled on the southwestern shores of Lake Garda. Just minutes from the water, the villa offers a private garden and close proximity to the charming streets and historic buildings of Padenghe sul Garda. In addition, there are two shared pool close by.

Location Description

The villa is located a few minutes’ walk from the beach, in the historic town if Padenghe sul Garda, on the southwestern coast of Lake Garda. Padenghe sul Garda offers much to explore, including a medieval castle, centuries-old churches, restaurants, and nature trails for hiking and biking. Long a favored destination, the Lake Garda area is filled with interesting little towns situated along the coast or up the hills, like Salo, Gardone Riviera, and Sirmione, rich with history, culture, good restaurants and shops. In Toscolano Maderno, there are bars, Tabacchi shops, and Trattoria San Carlo, which serves wonderful food. Accessing sights on the opposite side of the lake is made easy by a half-hour ferry connection from Toscolano Maderno to Torri del Benaco, running every 30 minutes.

Exterior Description

The villa is surrounded by a private garden that has several lounge chairs a terrace with a dining table for 8. A common area shared with other nearby villas is located 40 meters from the house and includes two swimming pools (the first is first 22 x 10 m, h 140 cm max; the second is for children, 10 x 7 m, h 60 cm max), which are open from May to September.

Interior Description

Ground Floor: There is an open living room with two sofas and satellite TV, as well as an adjacent area with several large armchairs, a round dining table with four chairs, and a chair and desk. The dining room, which is bright and filled with windows, has a dining table for 8. The kitchen features and oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, electric tea kettle, espresso machine and a high eat-in table with 3 barstools. There is also a guest bathroom with a toilet.

First Floor: There are two double bedrooms. The first bedroom has a queen-size bed (160 cm), ensuite bathroom with a Jacuzzi bathtub, sink, toilet and bidet. The second bedroom has a large queen-size bed (170 cm) and an ensuite bathroom with a shower, sink, toilet and bidet. There is also a lake-view balcony.

Lower Level (Basement): There are two additional bedrooms. The first has a queen-size bed (160 cm) with private bathroom with a sink, toilet and bidet. The second bedroom has two narrow single beds (80 cm each, best suited to young people). There is also a storage room and a garage with a washing machine.

Please Note:

• A Welcome Basket is provided upon arrival. The Welcome Basket usually includes 1 bottle of olive oil, fruit basket, 5 bottles of wine, 6 bottles of water, salt/pepper, vinegar, sugar, coffee, toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, and detergents.
• Air Conditioning is only available on the ground floor and first floor.
• Housekeeping is provided on Wednesday. Linens and towels are changed. Additional Housekeeping can be arranged for an additional fee.
