It is set within a large park and is within walking distance of the village of San Donata in Collina.

Location Description

This property is located 1.1 km from San Donato in Collina, a typical small Italian village with markets, cafes, and a post office. Due to its location in the Florentine hills south of Florence, it is about a 20-minute drive into the city (depending upon the time of day and traffic!), but there is also a bus stop in the village. Other day trips from the villa include the Chianti area, Siena, and Arezzo.

Exterior Description

(10,000 m2) This is an ancient villa dating back to the 13th century. It sits within a vast park and has a private garden furnished with tables, chairs, and a barbecue. There is a private swimming pool and Jacuzzi as well as private parking with automatic gate access. Please note that access to the property is by a 400 meter unpaved road.

Interior Description

Ground Floor: On this floor are the living room (38 m2), kitchen, (32 m2) equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, toaster, and Espresso coffee machine, and the dining room. The entire villa is equipped with Sky TV, a home theatre system and CD/DVD players. A comfortable sitting room and outdoor patio, accessible from this floor, provide more space to spread out. There are three double bedrooms with queen size beds (160 cm) and one double bedroom with a French bed (140 cm; comfy for one, cozy for two!). There are three bathrooms, each with a shower.

First Floor: Accessible by 10 – 15 steps, this floor has several sitting/living rooms equipped with sofas, dining tables, and kitchenettes. There are also three double bedrooms, each with a queen size bed (160 cm) and bathroom with shower.

Second Floor: Accessible by 10 – 15 steps, there is one double bedroom with a queen size bed (160 cm) and one bedroom with two twin beds (100 cm). There is one bathroom with a shower.
