The Roman Forum and Piazza Venezia is only a two to five minute walk away as well! The Church of Santa Maria Maggiore can easily be reached on foot and the Basilica of San Giovanni in Laterano can also be reached by tram. As for public transportation connections, the Coliseum metro stop (line B) is located just a few minutes away, and several trams as well as buses will take you virtually anywhere in the city.
