Divided into three apartments, this accommodation in Italy is best for groups that love traveling together but also enjoy their privacy.

Location Description

The farmhouse is located three kilometers from Monticchiello, where you'll find shops, restaurants, and a market. Monticchiello still has its original city walls, towers, and castle, while the main site is the 13th century gothic church, which contains a beautiful altarpiece. Each summer, the locals put on plays that they themselves have wrote with three acts. The first act takes place in the past, the second act takes place in the present, and the third act takes place in the future. If you're looking for a town a little bigger, Pienza is about a 15-minute drive away. In addition to shops and restaurants, there are markets, banks, a pharmacy, post office, and gas station, visit Pienza. The history of Pienza (or Citta di Pio) is closely linked to Pope Pius II, known as the great humanist. In 1458 he transformed this ancient town (his birthplace) into a perfect example of architectural and urban design. Judging by the attention this gorgeous town still gets today, his ambitious project was a success, attracting visitors from all over the world. The main sites include the Palazzo Piccolomini and the Duomo. Great day trips through the region are to the hilltop town of Cortona or the culturally rich city of Siena.

This restored farmhouse consists of two buildings; the first one has two apartments (Il Ramo and La Foglia) and the second one is the owner’s own holiday home along with a studio apartment (Il Fiore). The estate is surrounded by olive groves and fields as well as a garden filled with flowers and trees. Each apartment features a private terrace with a table and chairs. There is a shared swimming pool (12m x 6m - open early May to late September) and Jacuzzi (2m x 2m) located 50 meters from the apartments. A dirt road of about one kilometer leads to the estate and several outdoor parking spaces are located 20 meters from the apartments.

Interior Description

Il Ramo
Ground Floor: A spacious entryway leads to a living room with an original stone fireplace, couches, satellite TV, and DVD player. There is a dining room with a table and chairs and a kitchen that is equipped with a cook-top, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. There is also a guest bathroom with a sink and toilet.
First Floor: A staircase leads up to a sun room with a couch that overlooks the surrounding wheat fields and olive groves. There are three bedrooms. The first bedroom has a 160 cm queen-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom (five steps higher) with a sink, toilet, shower, and tub. The second bedroom each has a 160 cm queen-sized bed and the third bedroom has two 90 cm single beds. There is one bathroom with a sink, toilet, shower, and tub.

La Foglia
Ground Floor: There is a living room with a fireplace, satellite TV, and DVD player. The dining room has a table and chairs as well as French doors leading outside to a courtyard. The kitchen is equipped with a cook-top, oven, microwave, and dishwasher.
First Floor: A staircase leads up to three bedrooms, each facing Mount Amiata. The first and second bedrooms each have a 160 cm queen-sized bed and the third bedroom has two 90 cm single beds. There are two bathrooms, each with a sink, toilet, shower, and tub.

Il Fiore
Ground Floor: This studio features a combined living and dining area with a couch, satellite TV, a table with chairs, and a 160 cm queen-sized bed. There is a kitchen corner with a cook-top, oven, and microwave. The bathroom has a sink, toilet, shower, and tub. French doors open to a small terrace that is furnished with a table, chairs, and barbecue.
