Surely one of the most memorable and stunning sights of any visit to Rome is the Colosseum. So what could be better than staying in this Rome apartment for rent, just a couple of blocks away? After breakfast, you'll leave this apartment in Rome to go exploring, and the first thing you'll do is walk through the Piazza that surrounds this magnificent structure, whether you're heading for the underground station or going north to the Roman Forum and the historic city center. In the evening when you return to your Rome rental apartment, you'll stroll by the Colosseum again, stopping to admire the scene in the light of the setting sun.

Location Description

At the south end of historic Rome on Via Santissimi Quattro, this apartment is situated just a couple of blocks to the southeast of the Colosseum, within walking distance of the Roman Forum and about 800 meters away from the Piazza Venezia. A longer walk in the direction of the train station will take you to the basilica of St Mary Major (or Maggiore). The apartment is also just a five minute walk from the underground station Colosseo (Line B), and it is also well served by ATAC bus lines C3, 85, 87, 117, 186, 571, 810, 850. The Termini train station is two stops from Colosseo.

Nearby Attractions: A neighborhood abundant with important historical sites (Roman Forum, Arch of Constantine), the area around the Colosseum is a dream for archaeology buffs. After a full day of sightseeing, head to the Monti neighborhood, a spot growing in favor among locals and visitors. A fashionable bar, La Bottega del Caffe, spills out on to the neighborhood’s main square of Piazza Madonna dei Monti. Ai Tre Scalini is another popular enoteca. Do not miss the vintage market, Mercato Monti, which houses 35 vendors every Sunday (Hotel Palatino Via Leonina 46/48).

First Floor (with lift): This apartment has a large entrance and a spacious living room with a double sofa bed (suitable for one), a dining table with chairs, and two big windows from which you can admire the Colosseum. A kitchen is equipped with an oven, and a cook-top. There are two bedrooms, each with a king-size (180 cm) bed. They share one bathroom with a sink, toilet, and tub with handheld shower head. The washing machine is also in the bathroom.
